I know these are a bit pricy when you have to buy enough for a large table setting, but they are worth it for sure. I use them for formal setting and not everyday. They clean up great with spot treatment spray and normal laundering. Also, the color seems to be holding after several washes. The investment has been worthwhile.
The place mats as well as the table runner I received were paper thin, you can see right through them. These will barely help keep the table from getting scratches on from silverware.
I love the deep teal color of these placemats, but they're extremely thin to the point where I'm afraid to place hot plates and cups on them without something else for fear of scorching my table. They're also difficult to wash in the sense that they come out of the dryer extremely wrinkly and require ironing, which is an extra step I don't feel like doing with placemats. I may end up turning them into napkins because they're not very functional as placemats for a wood table.
Lovely linen placements. Look more expensive than they are. Wrinkles came out easily once I used a wrinkle remover spray and threw them in the dryer for ~10 minutes and then ironed them.
These hard-to-find round placemats have lovely tailoring and the linen fabric is excellent quality. The neutral color goes with any style dinnerware, but looks very sophisticated with simple white. Recommended for anyone who appreciates tasteful design and quality construction.
These are quite a higher quality for the price, as most other linen placemats I found came in sets of 2 for around the same price. They come folded in a box, which leaves them with a few big creases, but a quick pass with a steamer solved that. Also, most other black linen placemats have a sort of keyhole interior border, which I wasnt a fan of (full disclosure: I bought these with the intention of doing some embroidery customization), so I pretty much found exactly what I wanted in these!
They were a beautiful color, very true to the online image. Good size and were incredibly soft and good quality. My only issue was it was extremely difficult to get the wrinkles out from how it was folded during packaging
I looove these so much. I wash them almost daily and theyve held up really well. I wash them on cold with Wolite, take them out of the washer as soon as the cycle is finished and lay them flat on the table to dry. I have ironed them and they iron wonderfully. With minimal effort, Ive gotten them completely wrinkle-free. I actually prefer the slightly wrinkled look thoughI think it looks really chic. I havent put them in the dryer, so I cant comment on that. I love these so much, I ended up buying twelve placemats. I looked everywhere online and you cant beat the price or colour selection here. Yes, its a little extra effort to wash linen placemats regularly, but they really elevate the every day experience of eating. To me, its worth it!
These are two steps above any of the straw/plastic type material placemats you can find in many stores. The colors are really vibrant and they protect the surface you place them on from any flatware.
