The 9x9 Athena Cocktail Napkin is the perfect size to fold into small squares -- the 100% linen is fairly thin and not at all bulky. The Light Natural color I opted for goes nicely with everything in my living space. So far I'm happy with my purchase. It remains to be seen how they'll hold up after many washes.
I was impressed with the quality of the cocktail napkins that I ordered, and very happy I did as I have never ordered from Solino Home before. I was very impressed with how quickly I received my order particularly with free shipping. I will definitely order from Solino Home again when the need arises.
I ordered these napkins to go with a child's tea set, they are pretty and small, but only giving them a 3 star rating because the seller took for EVER to get them to me. Date was changed 2x's. Almost didn't make it for birthday. Do not yet know how they washed.
We like the idea of using natural fabric napkins that we can wash and reuse vs. paper, so we got these for a cocktail party with neighbors. They were perfect for that, but after washing, are clumped up into balls and will require a lot of individual ironing to be able to reuse them.

Im pretty happy with these napkins! We only needed one napkin per meal so far. The fabric is thin but surprisingly absorbs sauces and oils from meals. We have only used them for meals, not to clean up spill, and they do a great job! I ordered a second set just to never run out during the week. These are machine washable and thats what I did with cold water and laid it flat to dry. As you can see from the picture, the napkin shrank 0.25. I dont mind this and it hasnt made a difference to its use. I didnt try ironing, but that is an option. UPDATE: I washed it again an stretched it a bit to shape it before laying it to dry and it had less wrinkles and it was closer to 6
Love these napkins! They are beautiful, excellent quality and replace all the little packets of napkins I would usually pull out for a party. The colors are exactly as pictured. I bought Beige, Blue and green and they look great. Wash in cold water and hang to dry. Run an iron over them quickly and they are ready to go again.
I got these for the family to try since we use paper towels for napkins. Trying to save trees! Well, they poo pood them. They didnt feel they were absorbent enough. I ordered the smallest ones to try them out. Oh, they need ironing too.
I use this napkins everyday, as a permanent replacement for disposable ones, and they do the job perfectly. My trash bin is considerably more empty than before.
I love these napkins! Im trying to reduce my waste and I finally cut out buying paper towels. These are perfect because if youre using a napkin you could just throw it in the wash and never have to buy them again. I dont recommend drying them because one of my napkins did shrink. I just air dry them. I gave it four stars because they were a little pricey for how many you get.
I recently stopped using paper towels and opted for reusable cleaning towels instead and in trying to find more ways to be eco-friendly, I wanted to find reusable napkins that were stylish and not as big as formal napkins you'd find at a restaurant. The grey + black 6x6 napkins are exactly what I wanted for everyday use. The only downside is that because they are linen, you won't want to dry them in the dryer with heat. I tumble dry them with no heat, let them sit out for a bit and they're good to good.
The seams are nice and the appearance is very crisp and upscale. They make a very nice napkin for a cocktail party. I bought these in charcoal grey, so light spotting wont show up as much as white linen. Be aware that they are made of linen and will wrinkle like crazy in a wash so ironing is a must. Since these are just to put under drink glasses, Ill toss them in the dryer with a home dry cleaning product and avoid the intense ironing.
We have been using these for a week and I am very happy with them. They wash well and are just right for using at the dinner table instead of paper towels. Nice material and construction! I recommend them.
My family was trying to reduce using paper napkins so we thought it would be a good idea to invest in cloth napkins. Putting linen in the dryer is a big mistake. Who has the time to iron these? We are so disappointed because they are a wrinkled mess. We even order them this size so that we didn't have to fold them.
